1. What is the difference between SFP-10G-T-S and SFP-10G-T-X? The main difference is the temperature range. The SFP-10G-T-S is for standard commercial use (0-70°C), while the HYTOPTODEVICE SFP-10G-T-X supports an extended temperature range (-5°C to 85°C), making it more durable for varied hardware environments.
2. Does this module support 2.5G and 5G speeds on Cisco ports? Yes. Our multi-rate 10G copper SFP+ for Cisco is a true NBase-T solution. It will automatically detect and link at the highest speed (1G, 2.5G, 5G, or 10G) supported by the cable and the Cisco switch port.
3. Will this module work with Cat5e cable? At 1G/2.5G/5G speeds, Cat5e can be used. However, for a stable 10Gbps link, Cat6a or Cat7 shielded cable is required to ensure 30m reach without interference.
