Q: Can I use the J8177B in newer Aruba 2930F or 5400R switches? A: Newer Aruba switches typically require the J8177D version. However, the J8177B is often backward compatible with many of these ports at 1Gbps speeds. For guaranteed compatibility in "Smart Rate" or SFP+ ports, we recommend verifying the specific switch's datasheet.
