Ever found yourself in a connector mix-match situation?
A lot of our clients ask if SC and LC single-fiber bidi sfp modules can talk to each other. Well, I'm here to tell you—it's totally possible!

Think of it like a conversation. For it to work, three things must align:
1. They must "speak" at the same speed (aka same rate).
2. They need to be on the "same wavelength," literally! The Tx and Rx wavelengths must be matched.
3. They should have the same "stamina," meaning the same transmission distance.
And here's the key—you'll need a special cable to introduce them: a single-fiber SC-to-LC patch cord! Or, you can use a simple SC/LC converter sleeve.
So, don't worry about the interface mismatch. Just match the specs, get the right cable, and you're all set!
